This year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France and the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism. On May 4, a forum on the development of people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and France was held in Paris, France. Liu Qihong, a board director of China Southern Power Grid (CSG), participated in the forum, expressing the company's commitment to implementing the important consensus reached at a meeting between the heads of state of the two nations. The company is ready to enhance cooperation and exchanges with international enterprises to jointly build a clean, beautiful, and prosperous world, and contribute to cultural exchanges and mutual learning, Liu said.
Chen Zexin, a young employee of CSG who had studied in France, participated in the "Opportunities in China - Dialogue with France" salon. At the event, discussions and exchanges were conducted among experts and scholars from China and France on various issues, including addressing global climate change, building a new type of electric power system, and promoting green and low-carbon energy transformation.
During the forum, CSG also unveiled the bilingual Chinese-French edition of its report titled "CSG's Practice of Chinese Path to Modernization" and premiered the French version of the company's promotional film "Leading the Way into the Radiance", titled "Marcher avant la lumière" in French.
